Problem

In sports, sweat (salt water) and dirt in the form of chalk is always a wear factor for training equipment. In outdoor applications, wind and weather also pose a challenge. The linear rails must also withstand high forces and withstand dynamic loads. In addition, it should be wear-resistant and function smoothly.

Solution

The drylin® W series, which can withstand high loads and was developed for outdoor use, can demonstrate its strengths in the SLIDE. Lightweight, robust and completely without lubrication. The construction with linear guides also saves space and easy assembly is also guaranteed. drylin® W linear guides can be configured online in different sizes.  They offer high rigidity and strength, as well as dirt resistance. Due to their lack of lubrication, igus products do not require any external lubrication and they meet the highest demands in terms of durability and wear resistance. Colour requests are possible due to the anodising process of the linear guides and the powder coating of the carriages.
