Avoid breakdowns in agricultural engineering with the smart ball coupling

Prevent breakdowns and make maintenance plannable. This is no longer a problem with the smart trailer coupling. How does that work? Quite simply, the wear of the bearing is monitored via an integrated sensor. Information will be provided as soon as a replacement is necessary. This minimises the risk of damage and breakdowns.

Smart spherical ball

Ball coupling without lubrication

With the intelligent trailer coupling for agricultural machinery, breakdowns in the agricultural sector can be prevented and maintenance can be planned. The idea is simple but ingenious: a monitoring unit is attached to the coupling and measures the wear of the plain bearing via a sensor that is guided through an existing grease nipple hole. In this way, it is possible to recognise in good time when the bearing needs to be replaced. Expensive breakdowns or damage can thus be avoided. In addition, material costs are saved as the bearing is only replaced when it is really necessary and not according to a rigid schedule. And as this saves resources, it also has a positive effect on the environment.

You determine the manner of data transfer and access

Data transfer within your local corporate network (i.Cee:local) or on a secure cloud (i.Cee:cloud)

i.Cee:local

i.Cee:local Your data do not leave your company network at any time, since the i.Cee software communicates only within networks of your choice. Options range from an energy chain within a single machine to a machine park and your own output interface.

i.Cee:cloud

i.Cee:cloud In this internet-based solution, the data take an intermediate stop at the i.Cee.net, a so-called data concentrator. The i.Cee.net is at your location, allowing you to stop or adjust data exchange with the cloud at any time.

Smart machine data acquisition ...

... for predictive maintenance concepts

The i.Cee module can be integrated into predictive maintenance concepts in a number of ways. From preventive service management, which schedules regular maintenance depending on use, to location-independent fault management, which uses various mobile channels to immediately report any unforeseen change. All information is aggregated in a modern dashboard, online or offline in the local network, depending on the customer's requirements.
